William Clayton's journal
Although I am not of the Mormon persuasion,
it was exciting for me to travel with the original company of "Mormon" pioneers through the eyes and words of journal author Wm Clayton. His vivid discruptions put the reader on horsback, in wagons and at times for long tedious miles on foot.
I found much of interest in his journal about the
Robert Crow family that traveled to the valley of the Great Salt Lake in the 2nd Division.
This journal holds the readers attention from beginning to end.
